Envirothon Coaches' Workshop

for competition
in the SC Envirothon
to be held on Friday, May 4th, in Columbia. Deadline for
registration to this
workshop is

Spartanburg SWCD will sponsor teams from Spartanburg County in
this year's state
competition. Winners of this competition will go on to
compete in the National Canon Envirothon
Competition. For

Institute for Natural Resources Conservation
June 23-27, 2008
Lander University
The
Spartanburg SWCD is currently seeking applicants to attend this year's
SC Institute for Natural
Resources Conservation. This program is open to
current high school juniors and seniors.
Application deadlines will be

Classroom Camp @ Lake Bowen

9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Do your kids
like spending time at the lake? Then this may be the camp for them! The
Spartanburg
SWCD is sponsoring a week of day camp on the lake for kids
ages 8-11. They will learn about
watersheds, water quality, and
conservation through activities that are designed to be both
educational
and fun. There will also be fishing, canoeing, and a cookout at the end
of the week! The
registration deadline for this camp
